I watched (and enjoyed) the last (11/1/2018) Life Devine chat whence @Geoffreyjen_Edwards mentioned Loren Eiseley, which rang a bell, which sent me to my bookshelf and yes, I’ve read a number of his essays, half a century ago, which are quite good, w/r/t writing as well as thought.
