This line jumped out at me:

> The Spiral doesn’t unfold by default—it unfolds by _devotion_ .

I’m feeling that now, as (I’m at the Intgral European Conference, and) I’ve been asked to present my workshop three days early—and I had not even started formally preparing (just gestating it in my mind)… but I’m doing it anyway!
