We are performing an intimate reading of Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri – A Legend and a Symbol, with virtual meeting every 1st and 3rd Wednesday until the poem is fully read. Savitri: A Legend and a Symbol is an epic poem in blank verse by Sri Aurobindo, based upon the theology from the Mahabharata. Its central theme revolves around the transcendence of man as the consummation of terrestrial evolution, and the emergence of an immortal supramental gnostic race upon earth. Unfinished at Sri Aurobindo’s death, Savitri approaches 24,000 lines.

@Geoffreyjen_Edwards, @Matteo et al. I will not be able to make the reading today. It is my last day in New York before the cross-country road trip moving my mom to Colorado, and I have a bunch of little things to take care of before we leave. I look forward to reconnecting once I’m settled in back home. I also hope to listen to the recording during our drive. Sending my best wishes for a good session.

Hi All, The Group was just Andrea and me today so we chatted and read a little off recording. We shall resume on March 4 in rhythm, having a second pass through The World-Stair then onto The Kingdom of Subtle Matter.

Thank you for the update, @Matteo, and warm greetings to Anrdea. I am back in Colorado now and will re-join the (regrouping) group next week. I look forward to boogying up the Word-Stair and catching the rhythm of the Kingdom of Subtle Matter. :sun_with_face:
