Hi there Andrea. Thanks so much for giving this music some time and I’m really glad this one resonates with you.

I love soundwalks and my only regret, if you can call it that re. this piece is—I wish it was longer. Still, I find it odd and endearing at the same time. The way Turner organizes a combo of recognizable music making objects (saxophones, orchestra etc.) against a natural backdrop is like nothing I’ve heard before.

For me, everything ultimately becomes one big sound landscape that is very compelling, somewhere I’d like to visit and stay a while.

thanks for listening!

The crunchy footsteps were so entrancing, I felt I was walking there myself.

If you are ever near Santa Cruz, California, I would love to have your visit!!
