Hope everyone can join and/or share our upcoming event. It’s going to be fun and inspiring!
HI Maria,
Just an fyi, I’m getting a page not found error message when I click on the link below
best
Mike
Oh, weird! Thanks for letting me know. I checked and it works fine for me using two different browsers. I wonder what’s happening. Would you mind taking a screenshot and sending it my way?
Thanks, Dawn. @care_save, is this error showing up on your end? I’m on the dashboard trying to spot what might be hapenning but I’m not seeing anything.
The page opened up right away four me. It looks great.
Thanks for letting me know, @ellenkdance !
Hi Dawn, do you want to try again?
Is there somewhere we are listing the recipients of our invites?
@ellenkdance you could use the CRM to track this. Just click the person’s record, then “Notes”, then add a brief note that you sent them the invite.
or if you’d like to coordinate it with other folks like Marco or Gennifrey, maybe a good old fashioned spreadsheet would be easiest.
The page worked for me, even in an incognito browser. Is it working for others now too?
The page loads now. ![]()
it works for me too. C, we had this issue a couple months ago with another page, you were able to corroborate that you wern’t seeing it as well.
So, it sounds like a cache problem. If that’s what this is, it’s a recurring issue and probably should be looked into. If I was someone clicking on the link for the first time and got the 404 error, I think the odds are in favor that I wouldn’t click again.
I checked on this earlier today. The page not been previously published (or was un-published), and had the wrong date (August instead of September). That all should be fixed now.
Kayla will be working on an improved graphic… tonight hopefully. Once that’s there, we should start promoting this very actively!
Hey Marco,
Thanks! I thought Caroline had fixed the issue with the date and I had published it… but then had to re-publish it today. Not sure what happened. In any case, thank you for fixing it!
Tim is working on the first promo video now… and hopefully we’re ready to share it with you (and Caroline) before EOD. It’s a teaser meant to generate intrigue… then next week we’ll work on a sizzle that shows some of our previous events and ends with the info for the Sept 13 event. After that, I’d love to create a third asset that’s more casual and personal, perhaps you and Caroline speaking of the event? Something that feels most intimate so we go from teaser (far away coming out this week) to the sizzle (a closer look for next week) to personal (a CU look as the date gets closer).
Looking forward to your feedback on the teaser. Ideally, we can post it on social media tomorrow.

Hi @kayla @madrush URGENT/IMPORTANT issue preventing our event page from being ready for circulation
- the caching issue that Michael has highlighted continues happening, from what I can tell. Maria also mentioned she can’t see the page on Safari.
I can open the event page no problem when logged in, but when I try it on an incognito browser, it gives the page not found issue that others have reported. Also, from Incognito, when I navigate to the Events page and scroll down looking for this event, it doesn’t appear. https://cosmos.coop/events/crisis-creativity-and-cooperation-beyond-the-fringe/
I checked on the backend and looked through all the settings on the event page itself, but I can’t see what would be causing this issue.
Re-checking all the event settings: the only possible reason I can come up with is that somehow the event page is still reading “Draft” as status, even though it’s published. And the only other option is to set it to “Pending Review.” I think THIS could be the source of the bug we’re experiencing. Because, when I look under “Published” events from the backend of the site, this event is not there. It is still showing under the “Drafts” section. There needs to be a way to move it out of DRAFTS and into Published, but I cannot find a way to do so at all. This is so odd! Hitting the “Publish” button didn’t change its status.
UPDATE: I just changed it BACK to Drafts from Pending Review (the only two options from the drop down), then hit the “Publish” button, and THIS TIME the status changed to “Published!”
I’d really like to know what that little glitch was all about… but can confirm that now it’s showing “Published” I can actually see it on Incognito browser.
