It’s been a very busy Summer here in Acousmatic Crossings land so we are a little late in presenting this video—but better late… as they say!
On June 4th, 2025 we had out first (of hopefully many) live Acousmatic music diffusions featuring artists that have, or will be presenting their work in the Acousmatic Crossings series. In this session, we featured the piece Beyond the Walls of Jericho by Paul Dolden and Hi, my name was… or the silence when the children are gone by Leonie Roessler. Both artists were in attendance, introducing their work and answering questions.
This was our first live experience and we are presenting it, warts and all. Apologies for the poor sound of my voice throughout, but given that this was a non-scripted, live event—we’ve decided to keep all those warts intact. Thankfully, the sound of the music was unaffected. Rest assured that these nasty little sonic gremlins will be gone in future sessions.
