I’m trying to build the page for this new series and I forgot how to add new contributors, I see the link to click on to add a new contributor but there is no where to add their photos. The new contributors are Gilles Gobeil and thruoutin. Their photos are in their respective folders

put me as the curator and for the authors, put Gilles Gobeil, Cat Celebrezze and thruoutin in that order. but first you would have to create contributor pages for Gilles and thruoutin (all small caps), their photos are in their folders

@lysaremo ignore everything that i"ve written above, I worked through all the issues. The only thing I would ask you to look at is the very top with the three authors. The third one seems misaligned with the other two, any way of fixing that?
@madrush quickl question, My feeling here is NOT to add the music in the Continuum series to the Acousmatic Crossings playlist, what do you think? If this grows which I intend it to, can we make a separate playlist for Continuum? I still want it under the AC umbrella but, dont want to mix playlists.
Hi @madrush have you encountered this before? the 3rd author photo on the post keeps wrapping to a second line not sure if it’s a small screen or wider desktop thing. tried cropping the image to portrait as it is on landscape but i think it might be the flex wrap. let me know if you have any idea how to fix it or what’s causing it. thanks!

Michael, one thought about the series as a whole: the first feature is called “Continuum,” but then if there are future features, will they be added to this same page, or be their own things?
I agree about creating a new playlist, which can easily be done in the same way the Acousmatic list works. Lysa, do you think you can help with that?
I tweaked the title so it will be easier to organize as it grows.
Just to reiterate Marco, my suggestions are to (eventually) have two sub menues under “Acousmatic Music” on the main page of the Journal. The first sub menu will say “Acousmatic Crossings” and will link to the AC landing page. The second sub menu will say “Continuum” and will like to the (presently unwritten) landing page for Continuum.
Let me know what you think of that, if agreeable, I’ll start writing a short text and choose an image for the Continuum landing page w hich I assume will have all the links for the separate Continuum installments, just like the AC landing page has.
I’ll also start writing a separate Transmission letter just announcing this series and especially keying on the call for submissions written at the top of the first installment. We can send this to the entire Transmissions email list as well as all the artists (about 60) who have contributed to the AC series.
Once I write this, can @lysaremo format and send it out?

My next project will be working on text and an image for the Continuum landing page which will be very similar to the Acousmatic Crossing landing page.
… about that, as explained to Marco, on the landing page for Metapsychosis under the drop down that says features, please modify “Acousmatic Music” to Acousmatic Crossings but pointing to the same page.
…then, please add another sub menu called “Continuum” pointing to the Continuum landing page (of which I’ll write the text and choose an image).
ONce that is done, please move any Continuum installments that are stuck in the Acousmatic Crossings page over to the Continuum page where they will accumulate over time.
Also, can we have these go into a playlist like the AC installments did?
Moving forward, can someone tell me how to format future Continuum installments to be directed to that page only?
The next Continuum won’t be done till November at the earliest (since I’ll be finishing Acousmatic Crossings in the interim). So, hopefully, that will leave plenty of time to get this done.
If anyone has any suggestions or something that you would prefer to be done differently, please let me know. I know this sounds like a lot but I’m really hoping all this is easily accomplished.

Continuum is an ongoing series spawned from Acousmatic Crossings exploring the many ways sound can alter our experience of listening, imagination, and the world around us.
Acousmatic and electroacoustic music remain at its heart, but the territory is deliberately open to adjacent sonic practices, from drone and (dark) ambient to soundscape and noise. It also welcomes (and encourages) writing (essays, stories, poetry), visual art and other creative works that emerge from or engage deeply with the experience of listening.
The works presented here are accompanied by short preludes—brief excursions into image, imagination and possibility. These aren’t formal explanations or descriptions of the music, rather pieces of writing that enter the space around it, suggesting another path toward the experience of listening.
Continuum remains open, following listening wherever it leads
If you’re interested in submitting a work for consideration, please use this page. If your submission is audio, I prefer a WAV file accompanied by an MP3, although an MP3 alone is perfectly acceptable. I would also prefer a single audio piece, so no full albums, Bandcamp, or SoundCloud links.
