Just as there was no coming back “to normal” from the Covid-19 pandemic… there might be no coming back from this moment socially, politically, economically, ecologically, informationally, technologically… I’m talking true collapse. ![]()
What happens when our own depravity and systemic failure to achieve justice is staring us in our arrogant faces?
What happens when reality-defining authorities lose their legitimacy?
When that which is suppressed in order to maintain the status quo, comes irreversibly to light?
When dependendable, if not consensual, mutual reality fractures?
Into the in-between, the not-yet-known, the “cracks” (Bayo Akomolafe), we can cast seeds for how to re-organize what’s here. We can turn the raw material of failed systems into nutrient-rich fertilizer
—and energetically re-grow toward the more liveable, desirable futures available to us in imagination, and in practice.
Specifically, moving toward “the more beautiful world our heart knows is possible.” (Eisenstein)

And I think Cosmos Co-op would be a great platform from which to broadcast bold, honest, poetic truths into the gaps—to really address what’s on the other side of the collapse of maps/stories-of-self. What can be done with the raw matter of chaos—to weave it into even greater, more life-affirming harmony.
And also I feel Cosmos Co-op offers a great platform for engaging in the practices and cultural patterning essential to fostering thriving, aware communities that are the actual collective embodiment of alternatives.
