Members and community participants of Cosmos Cooperative are warmly invited to a two-part online training in using sociocracy in our cooperative.
There will be two 2-hour trainings:
- Wednesday April 1st, 11am to 1pm MST
- Friday April 3rd, 1pm to 3pm MST
The training will be led by trainer Adam Barnfather, with the purpose of helping equip Cosmos’ existing circles and leadership to better integrate sociocratic methods and best practices into our work, and to equip ourselves for growth as our membership base grows.
We will dive into:
- The toolset: structure, agenda, circles, nomination process, feedback, etc.
- How sociocracy gets applied at different levels of organizational growth — from 10, to 100, to 1,000 active members
- Voting methods for large groups
- Enrolling and onboarding new participants into sociocracy
All members are welcome & encouraged to attend!
